We woke up in the morning with a flat tire on the right side of the fifth wheel trailer. After breakfast, Steve changed the tire and we debated our options.
We were only 39 km (24 miles) from the Campbell Highway. The peace, quiet and scenery along the Nahanni Range Road were glorious and we were very tempted to turn around. However, we were also motivated to get to Liard Hot Springs (south of Watson Lake on the Alaska Highway) for some soaking.
So we carefully crossed the "path" out of our boondock site and turned west towards the Campbell Highway and Watson Lake.
This bridge was different than the others on the Nahanni Range Road. Not sure why the sides were so high ...

After exiting Nahanni Range Road, we stopped at the rest area on the Campbell Highway.
The truck and fiver were a little dusty, but nothing too serious.

The green sign tells drivers that Watson Lake is to the left, and Ross River and Carmacks are to the right.
We continued south on the Campbell Highway, headed towards Watson Lake. Another quick grocery shopping trip, a stop at the car wash, and lunch at the community park. The community park also had a dump station and fresh water to top-up our water tank.
From Watson Lake, we headed south on the Alaska Highway soon after lunch. Very much looking forward to an evening soak at Liard Hot Springs.
