We arrived at Stone Mountain Provincial Park and Summit Lake campground in time for lunch. There were plenty of great camp sites available so we decided to stay for the night; the campground access road is at N58 39 07.1 W124 39 04.0

The day was overcast with rain threatening.

Despite the threat of rain, we
decided to hike the Ridge Trail across the highway.
Did not make it to the top of the mountain, but DID hike 2 km up and
2 km back.

Tazz surely enjoyed the hike. We learned she was part
mountain goat on this adventure. While I struggled to climb
the steep rocky incline, she jumped hither & dither without a care
in the world.
I think she didn't really appreciate the view
either!

Returned to the fifth wheel just in time as a torrential downpour settled in the for evening.
