The skies remained overcast with rain. After morning rituals, including walking the dog, the truck hit the highway at 9 a.m. The plan was to explore the provincial campgrounds at Muncho Lake, 100 km north.
Pulled into the Strawberry Flats campground N58 56 49.6 W125 46 08.6 at 11 a.m. It was almost full with very few available sites for a rig our size (43' long). So we carried onto MacDonald campground just a few miles further north.
Fifteen minutes later the fifth wheel was comfortably parked in site #2 at MacDonald campground at N59 01 06.0 W125 46 09.8. All the sites at MacDonald are waterfront with most having plenty of room for rigs longer than 40'.

Despite the overcast cast, the scenery was nice. As had been the theme all week, the rain continued to threaten.

Steve headed out with the kayak to fish while I sat by the shore taking pictures of things Tazz didn't scare away with her feisty play in the lake!

Steve caught two fish. It was a quiet evening in a very nice spot. Weren't sure whether we'd sleep in tomorrow and stay a second night. Maybe...weather dependent.
