Long weekend camping trip - Haines Road

Long weekend - time for a break. Loaded the camper and headed out. Weren't sure where we'd go but we turned west on the Alaska Highway. The weather has been HOT. Sky clear. Much too warm.
At Haines Junction we turned south on the Haines Road, maybe we'll find snow.

We didn't leave home until the afternoon so it was already getting late in the afternoon. Not too much further was the Million Dollar Falls campground in Yukon.

It was warm and sunny still, so we headed off for a hike with the dogs. There's a lake to the north of the campground.

We finished off the walk by taking the boardwalk above the Million Dollar Falls. The water was running high.

After supper, we lazed around a bit, then to early to bed.
