In 1993 we arrived in Skagway on the ferry via the Alaska Marine Highway.
In September 2011 and July 2012 we made day trips to Skagway.

The drive to Dyea is interesting. Be prepared for the narrow gravel road along the water's edge. A visit to the start of the Chilkoot Trail will give with this view of Skagway.

Carcross is a small place in a nice location. We explored the town in less than 30 minutes. The surrounding mountains and lakes are beautiful!
