Northern Lights across the sky

A wonderful evening for the Aurora Borealis!

Northern lights on the horizon and in the sky!

A bit of red showing on the horizon 

The northern lights settled to the horizon for a bit at 11 p.m.  It seemed a good time to put the ultra wide angle lens on the camera and try some shots.  The green colour shifted to being very subtle, however a reddish hue was lifting into the sky!

The lights became quiet again at 11:30 p.m.   Time for bed!
