Northern Lights across the sky

13 November 2012 - Tuesday

I wasn't quite speechless this evening, but almost.
Instead I kept muttering, "Wow! WOW!"

The aurora borealis display was absolutely amazing.

My head was spinning as I watched the lights shift quickly.
The tripod was also getting a good workout as I moved about the property and also turned north, south, east and west.  Usually the lights are visible to the north and east.
On this evening, the lights were in all directions!

According to the geomagnetic storm resulted in more red in the lights.  Early in the evening the redness was visible, diminishing as time passed.
