Arrived at Liard Hot Springs in the early evening and were anxious to visit the springs for a nice long soak. There was a lot of dust from the South Canol, Campbell Hwy and Nahanni Range Road to soak away! For the past two weeks we had been bathing in cold rivers and lakes so the warm spring waters were a delight!
We stayed at Liard until September 17.

We woke in the morning to about 4" of snow. After a quick breakfast and some hot coffee, we hit the road intending to make the provincial campground at Bear Lake, just north of Prince George.
We arrived at Bear Lake in the early evening. It's a large campground with many campsites. We were the only ones there initially and then another pulled in about 30 minutes later. We had to wonder why they chose to park in the site next to ours ...
